On the 28th April, the residents of the Mexican town of Xonacatlan have been admitted to the Guinness Book of World Records Over three years, the Xonacatlan residents had collaborated to create the largest teddy bear ever made in the world. To create the huge teddy using the same materials used in the production of standard stuffed animals available in stores. The result was an 19.41 inches long and a teddy bear, with his name Xonita that has an approximate amount of 451.48 m3. The massive teddy bear is currently the largest toy bear in the world that makes it the largest stuffed animal the world, by default.
The World’s Largest Sock Monkey
Sock monkeys are created from socks and are usually created in the shape of the monkey. They are extremely sought-after folk art toysand are often are made by hand. Typically, they are the size of a mid-sized toy. But have you ever considered what you would get if you tried to create one of 66 socks that were calf length? Jody Lewis, of Bridgwater, United Kingdom, did just that!
Lewis took a whole time cutting off socks and sewing them together. After many hours of hours of hard work, she completed her workand set records for the creation of the world’s biggest sock monkey! It was filled with 15kg of hollowfibre, her huge monkey was created in February of 2015.
“I’ve got a big list of things that I want to do in life and breaking a world record was one of them,” Lewis said to at the World Record Academy. That, she certainly did! Lewis‘ monkey is an official record holder for being the largest Sock Monkey in the world. It is 3.19 Meters tall. And weights 16 kilograms.
