I’m now a contributor to SHRM’s Diversity Q&A
by Carmen Van Kerckhove
What’s the best way to respond to a racist joke?
That was the topic I tackled in a blog post earlier this month on Race in the Workplace.
Not only did the post get featured on the extremely popular blog Lifehacker, it also received over 500 diggs on the community-based news site Digg. All of that traffic briefly crashed all of New Demographic’s web sites!
What I’m even more thrilled about, however, is that the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) — the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management — has published my post in the Diversity Q&A portion of its web site, and has asked me to continue contributing columns for them. You can view it here (membership required).
Thank you to everyone who linked to and dugg the post!
